I want to start with a basic explanation. I had OO-1.0. You people talked about OO-1.1. That is fine. I realized that I have to upgrade (It got back the interface of Star Office by SUN). I tried to install the Hebrew version from: http://www.openoffice.org.il/
But I could not handle it. Especially there is a font problem so I can't see any menu. All I get is small rectangles.
Now I tried the English version and was successful to set "Complex Text Layout" Still I have problems with fonts.
Now I use RH9.0 installed from scratch and the font problem is bugging me from day one. I am too lame to disagree with Jonathan who asked me to post messages regarding Hebrew OO on mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] (After I register using: http://www.openoffice.org.il/) but this problem is a general font problem I have all over. The major thing is that I do not understand which fonts to use and how to activate them. I read some articles that suggested aliases of known fonts like Arial, David, Frank Rhule and others to some ISO99.... fonts but I did not get any explanation how to do it and still I am stuck.

Hi,
After reading much about Open Office (including the list archive) I still do not understand if it supports Hebrew and how to use such feature. Is anyone successful?
Yes, it supports Hebrew. Just go to tools-prefrences- and mark "enable ctl support"
