Some intuition to what's going on there (last time I tried) -- They are breaking the HTTP/SSL standard and not allowing access to any page but the homepage if the connection is not an SSL continuation session (meaning a session reusing a previously-agreed key). I have written is script in perl+curllib that acts as a proxy and logs all accesses to the page. At the time, I succeeded in writing a script to fetch financial data from the site as well, but the script would not work correctly now.
