I put in a feature request at sourceforge for Culmus, but I don't
know if you saw it so I am repeating it here:
Hebrew font matching BitStream Vera
One recent addition to the open source font scene is
the BitStream Vera fonts. Especially I really like
their monospace font for displaying source code.
Unfortunately Vera Mono is much heavier than the Culmus
Miriam font which by design matches the much lighter
font Nimbus Monospace.
I suggest that a new font will be designed (which might
just be a modified Miriam font) that matches the weight
of the Vera fonts. A nice name for such a font might be
"Vered". ;-)
