Well, he did sound honestly "yellow" to me. I mean they realy just want rating
and have no clew what this was all about. The "linux thingy" as he said. I
guess it was important to make the linkage from OSS in Israel and HaMakor and
help them know we should at least be consulted in the future. I think this is
one thing that is still not established.
The headline says it all and I guess they felt uncomfortable with beeing so
unprofessional. I mean, they took a very simple description of events and put
it out of contect to have a dramtice headline. The article we responded to
did not include any link to the original article they were supposedly
quoting.
After I looked at the original text in the German newspaper it was obvious
that the real value of the article was that there's a political issue in
Munich, and IBM and SUSE are basicaly now funding it.
If you read what Walla are still saying in the intro to our letter (which I'm
sure they didn't even read) is that there are problems with the project
"after" the migration to linux. The thing is that there ***wasn't*** any
migration and ***no linux*** was installed yet. This is ***pre-RFP***
stage ... very unprofessional on behalf of Walla.
