Howdie people, anyone here with OSCAR experiance? I read in their site that thsy only support RedHat 8.0 and 9.0 in the latest release, and that the client systems (compute farm nodes) need to be of the same version as the host, however someoe told me that in HATAASIYA HAAVIRIT they set up one machine to serve out both an RH6.2 cluster and a 7.2 cluster. got me a bit confused (why should the OS versions of the server and client need to match?!) and I need to come up with some non-kludge solutions for my client tomorrow morning. I'm digging their archive lists but any ideas from the kind readers here can help.
