The Reply-To Header Thread is like the Eurovision Song Contest. It happens one a year. It's boring, and way to long, but everyone still continues to watch it to the very end, to see who wins this time. It's exactly the same thing each year, but a billion (or at least a dozen) people continue to send in their votes so their opinion is counted. Many votes are motivated by long-standing political beliefs, rather than a real consideration for the alternatives at hand.
