Depends on how do you define "free". you can download it from the web, you can 
modify it and you can even give the modified or unmodified version to other 
people - it is GPL. 
OTOH, if you need a "download, install, run and it works" kind of 
functionality, then you better pay for a pre-compiled and supported version. 
If you're serious and wants to use if for buisness, then I suggest you go 
with the commercial option - its not expensive at all, especially considering 
the competion.
