Apprently, Yossi Vardi did it again.
With a team of young developers, he developed a wireless technology that
was shown to send data to distances of at least 100km, with a bandwidth
exceeding that of ADSL.

According to that text, the reported technology is "...indifferent to the
type of Operating System, and accommodate Windows and Linux equally".
Interestingly, the reported approach was developed as early as WWII, but
was never able to achieve the bandwidth now achieved. The story also cites
a few disadvantages of the new approach. But nobody's perfect, right?
