I just finished upgrading to MDK 10.0 with kde 3.2 and I noticed that some programs (for example ethereal and Gnomemeeting) have right justified menues - with the File item on the far right followed by Edit and so on). I assume that this has something to do with Hebrew/Israeli localization, but I haven't been able to find what parameter controles this behaviour (in order to disable it). Any help would be appreciated.
BTW - the upgrade to MDK 10.0 went quite well. There were some glitches, but on the whole I have no big complaints. I would like to mention one problem I had. Although I solved it, I wasted alot of time. So maybe someone can benefit from this. The module for my TV card wasn't loaded at boot. The card did work when I did a modprobe on the module. I discovered that modules on kernel 2.6 are no longer loaded in the /etc/modules or /etc/modules.conf files as in the fast. I had to add the TV card module in a file named /etc/modprobe.preload. I assume this was done for a reason, but it's unfortunate that the upgrade didn't move the neccessary line to that file. -- Shlomo Solomon http://come.to/shlomo.solomon Sent by KMail 1.6.1 (KDE 3.2) on LINUX Mandrake 10.0 ================================================================= To unsubscribe, send mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the word "unsubscribe" in the message body, e.g., run the command echo unsubscribe | mail [EMAIL PROTECTED]
