Hello,
I've got a new SBLive! sound card now and even managed to get both sound (through its green socket on the back to a pair of speakers) and recording (through its pink socket on the back).
The problem I have now is that it sounds like the speaker catches the waves from the microphone - the peaker sechos whatever sound comes through the microphone even if no application listens to the mic (or even when input is mutted) (I'm worried it's electric induction directly between the two plugs, but that would be strange since I'd expect the circuit to take this into account).
Can anyone with a working SBLive! send me the output of their "alsactl -f /tmp/alsactl.out store" command?
My setup: Debian testting, kernel 2.6.7 (alsa 1.0.4), alsa-1.0.5a modules installed but not yet loaded (didn't reboot yet).
Thanks,
--Amos
