I don't know. I didn't see any reply either. The first match I got from googling for `cd icon kde' is http://sxs.thexdershome.com/guis/cdicon.html. Skimming that page suggests that it is what you are looking for. I don't know how new/accurate/whatever this page is. One might also try google groups if he must have an answer or has the time for that.
