Note that this page talks about the "pure" (64bit only) version.
It also mentions the multiarch project, which is "the future" (their
words). There is also biarch, the kludge (?) Knoppix used (and I copied).
The "pure" version seems the most complete, the only one with chances to
be released in Sarge. Note that I did not try it. If anyone here did,
I'd love to here about your experience. Mostly about speed comparisons
(if you did any on the same hardare), and about 32bit compatibility
(e.g. is everything you tried, including stuff like acroread and the
flash plugin, worked). I did read it has a package called ia32-libs,
so you do not have to play by yourself with copying libs from other
places, but as I said, I did not try it.
