Hi,
I have the same problem with mandrake cooker (i guess from the time 
mdk10.1community was release)
There's a bug opened about it in mandrake, and this bug is really annoying.
It seems like fedora is now affected to by this. I guess some1 will have to 
give an answer about it sometime...

(btw, i think it's not only the Nachlieli font which is problematic. according 
to what's written in the bug-report at mandrake it's other Israeli fonts too)
