Hi.
I recently started using OO and I would like to know where on my system are the fonts it uses?
Actually, I am a little new to fonts and stuff (only recently started porting all my office related issues to Linux) - where are the system fonts?
Are they being shared by all applications? (for example, is there some kind of a standard with this issue?)
For example, does my Browser and OO use fonts from the same source?
when I run 'locate' fonts on my system, I see a lot of different resources...
/opt/qt-3.2.3/doc/examples/fonts
/usr/local/mozilla/res/fonts
/usr/X11R6/include/X11/fonts

When I do 'locate fonts |grep office' I get
 /usr/lib/openoffice/share/fonts
/usr/lib/openoffice/share/fonts/truetype
/usr/lib/openoffice/share/fonts/truetype/fonts_dir.global
/usr/lib/openoffice/share/fonts/truetype/fonts.dir
/usr/lib/openoffice/share/fonts/truetype/opens___.ttf
/usr/lib/openoffice/share/fonts/truetype/Vera.ttf
/usr/lib/openoffice/share/fonts/truetype/VeraBI.ttf
/usr/lib/openoffice/share/fonts/truetype/VeraBd.ttf
/usr/lib/openoffice/share/fonts/truetype/VeraIt.ttf
/usr/lib/openoffice/share/fonts/truetype/VeraMoBI.ttf
/usr/lib/openoffice/share/fonts/truetype/VeraMoBd.ttf
/usr/lib/openoffice/share/fonts/truetype/VeraMoIt.ttf
/usr/lib/openoffice/share/fonts/truetype/VeraMono.ttf
/usr/lib/openoffice/share/fonts/truetype/VeraSe.ttf
/usr/lib/openoffice/share/fonts/truetype/VeraSeBd.ttf

Does it mean I have all it needs?

Amit
