Lior, Shachar
Having been personally tarred and feathered over sending a commercial
newsletter to a number of people on the lis :-{)
I will join Shachar and second his motion that the list remain a
community/peer-support resource not a business network.
This is for a number of reasons-
a) a mailing list doesnt have the right functionality for a business
networking application
b) we all get too much spam anyhow
c) in my experience, linked-in has not been an effective tool - otoh - doing
successful projects, speaking to people and having a good website
with good content have been more effective for me. If linked-in works for
some people -great - it doesnt mean that we have to support it.
