Oded,
        this is normal for any registrar. All .com/.org and other gtld 
domains are renewed automatically by the registry on their expiry day. The 
registrar has 30 days to delete the domain without paying the renewal 
fees. You'll find many registrars using this to allow their customers to 
renew an expired domain before it goes back to the general pool.
