They are identical except a few servers. User support is dealt by a help desk, level 2 support is dealt by the sysadmins. > At this salary range all you will get is a "script kidde". Actually, that is a relief, as no one in his right mind would hire someone with your attitude. > I have been developing business plans for high tech companies for the > last two years, and IMHO the minimum people needed to support a company > of that size would be 2-3 sysadmins, and if you have an outside web > presence a web admin. Listen, Geoff. I didn't notice Sivan mentioning the amount of sysadmins on the team. From my knowledge, which is quite substantiated as you know, the case is definetly not the one you stated above. Now, with all due respect to your "2 years of business developing plans", I think that Sivan is just a "tiny" bit more experienced with the department in question, and has a pretty good grasp of what is needed in order to run it properly. He is offering a job. A good job. The 18k starting salary is definetly high considering the location and job demands. Good jobs are in need today, and people are looking for jobs. If you don't have anything to contribute (as in offering Sivan someone - other than yourself - for this job), then you may take note that he didn't ask for your opinion on the job, nor are your comments and "advice" constructive in any way. best, --Ariel -- Ariel Biener, CSO Phone: 03-6406086 Tel-Aviv University CIT div. e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] PGP(6.5.8) public key http://www.tau.ac.il/~ariel/pgp.html ---------------------------------------------------------------- This message was sent using IMP, the Internet Messaging Program. ================================================================To unsubscribe, send mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the word "unsubscribe" in the message body, e.g., run the command echo unsubscribe | mail [EMAIL PROTECTED]
