Hi, I'm trying to initiate a VPN connection over the net with no success. Sniffing the interface shows that the VPN client is using the ESP protocol (Layer _4_ protocol #50, Encapsulated Security Payload), and I can see only outgoing packets and NO INCOMING ones.
Looks like the ISP blocks the ESP protocol (maybe it accepts only tcp/udp/icmp and blocks everything else?). The machine uses the [EMAIL PROTECTED] adsl accounts and behaves the same in most ISPs. Do you think it's indeed an ISP filter, the guest account's fault, or do you see other reason for this to happen? Any experiences with the ESP protocol? Thanks!
