Are there users who actuall like Nautilus? It seems to me like a cool tool that should be included in a distro aimed at the MS desktop market. That is, if you don't have access (knowledge of) to the command line, Nautilus offers a lot of functionality. Is there a better tool for the CLI challenged?

1. Nautilus seems to be startted as part of the default gnome session or somesuch, so until I get to disable it, it's pretty annoying.
I try to avoid the gnome deamons. I like the user interface of galeon, but it's use of gconf is annoying (at least for me). I hardly find any use for the gnome desktop for myself.
2. Sometimes it's useful to have a way to view files in a GUI, or be able to drag-and-drop files around.
Aren't there simpler file managers for that?

As for me, I'm one of those who think X is great because it allows easy switching between many terminals :-)
