It's called (I think) Lights Out management options. In higher end
models it's build in, in lower end models it's a PCI option. It has
it's own power supply, RS232 and Ethernet.

I think the DL380 G1 only has BIOS redirection to ttyS0 (which is
common on ServerWorks boards).
