For some stupid reason, this "smart" debian box keeps loading ipv6 I edited /etc/modules.conf into: alias net-pf-10 off # IPv6 and /etc/modprobe.d/aliases alias net-pf-10 off #alias net-pf-10 ipv6 IMHO that should be enough, but it does not always work and IPv6 is getting loaded (sometimes).
