As I learned in a BOFS in the OLS 2005 conference, the debian-women project is mainly about doing exactly what you need. They take newbies who wish to donate by the hand, and match a mentor to the mentee. And no, they are not all women: there are about 40% women in the project (compare to about 3% in Debian in general, and to about 40% in computer science). http://women.alioth.debian.org/ Orna. -- Orna Agmon http://ladypine.org/ http://haifux.org/~ladypine/ ICQ: 348759096 ================================================================= To unsubscribe, send mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the word "unsubscribe" in the message body, e.g., run the command echo unsubscribe | mail [EMAIL PROTECTED]
