Hi again in answer to myself, I got hebrew to appear in scribus but only backwards hebrew. Again has anyone used hebrew in scribus?
If this is indeed the state of hebrew in scribus what is needed for it to support bidi? I want to write to the scribus users and or file a bug report and be able to tell them what needs to be done to have scribus support bidi.
