I found: XSendEvent and XPutBackEvent
Also, try to look for the file:
/usr/share/doc/xspecs/xlib.html
section 11.6 "Sending Events to Other Application
If you don't have the file, it can be installed from the Debian Sarge
package xspecs 4.3.0.dfsg.1-14sarge1
