Yes it did! My 20 pages of messed up text now looks great (it would have been
even better if OpenOffice didn't loose my section numbers, but that's another
bug I guess).

Thank you so much for discovering this workaround.

I don't know what this "Use Sequence Checking" does, but obviously what it
does is inappropriate for Hebrew (or simply buggy).
