Well I didn't find a lin4win, but I stumbled across colinux.

Which lets you run win and lin concurrently which sounds like what I
wanted.

I will still need to see how intrusive it is.

I want the ability to run lin on occasion at work, but I don't want to
get anyone upset with me.

I will first try the usb route and if it is a no go move on from
there.
