Hi Oded,
I need a router that connects four Ethernet LANs, A, B, C and D. Each LAN
requires a separate physical interface for security. Each LAN has a
separate IP network, no bridging is required. I only need static routing.
There is no DSL, cable, ATM or Frame Relay involved. It's only Ethernet.
AFAIK, the standard ADSL/DSL routers sold in home computer strores and
at Bezeqstore do not have separately configurable Ethernet interfaces and
the ability to define static routes between the Ethernet interfaces.
I think that Marc understands my problem.
Thanks and Regards,
- yba

What is, if I may ask, a router with no WAN interface ?
I thought the usage of a router is to connect different networks (unlike
a switch which connects different fabrics to single network), hence it
must have a "local interface" for the LAN (usually plural, to also
double as a switch) and an "external interface" to the WAN.
Or perhaps you mean - a router with no dial-up capabilities (DSL, Cable,
whatever) on its WAN interface ?
