Hello all, Long story short, I'm using gdb to debug tab=4 code, and gdb is slowly, but firmly, driving me nuts. In a normal consoles, using $ setterm -regtabs 4 changes the tab width/size/stop/etc to 4. However, when I try to do the same in xterm/konsole/etc (where TERM=xterm), setterm doesn't seem to work. (Unless I set TERM=linux, which should break other things.)
I tried adding the it#4: to the termcap xterm-new entry, but neither xterm nor konsole seem to honor it. Anyone have any ideas? * - Gilboa * No religious "VI vs. Emacs" like answers.
