Thanks, it solved the puzzle. I do not remember where I pressed L, but
it was some subsection of a section of Debian packages.
When I pressed L at the place you suggested, all installed packages were
indeed selected, requiring download of 1.3GB (which is more than the
space I have in my /var partition in the current hard disk).
I'll reinstall once I finish moving my system to the new (and bigger)
hard disk.
