Hi all!

At my workplace we use emacs to edit files. These files are usually
located under a very long path, and as a result we can't see the
filenames in the taskbar - you can only see the first half of the path.

You won't believe how much frustrating it is to edit 10 files in
separate windows of emacs with each has the exact same name in the
taskbar (though it improves your memory and orientation).

We would very much like to see only the filename in the taskbar, and if
possible, to keep the full path name in the title of the window.

I've found nothing useful while googling around...

We use xemacs version 21.4.15, under KDE.

Any help will be highly appreciated, for it might raise the productivity
of Intel employees by 200%! ;)

Thanks in advanced,

Yoni
