I never said anything about linking to MySQL libraries. I was talking about distributing MySQL as part of a propriety distribution(for the sake of the argument lets say I'm using the regular ODBC driver to connect to a standard MySQL database). MySQL site states that I CAN NOT choose to use MySQL under GPL in this scenario. Again - NO linking, NO patching, just distributing -Alex.
