BTW, have you read through the g++ FAQ? Last time I had 3.3.x internal errors it turned out to be faulty RAM... I.e., on another similarly set up debian box, do you have the same problem? Be sure to file the bug report then... Also, you might want to talk to the opal developers -- maybe they have an easy workaround.
