If I understand the GS documentation correctly, PDF files cannot be
reordered at will, nor even streamed via stdin. Still, ghostview seems
to be doing a reasonable job at it.

Looking at the code, it does have /some/ special code for PDF, but I
have not managed to pin-point exactly what.

Like I said before, I'm going to stick to running gs on the file one
page at a time, and re-run if I want different zoom. It sucks, but
that's all I got, time constraints and all.

So far, I'm having a hard enough time getting -sDEVICE=display to work.
