Did anyone manage to connect Creative Zen Vision:M to any Linux machine? I'm using Ubuntu 7.04. I followed some hints and a howto on their forums for no avail. ( it concerns mainly compiling and installing libmtp ). The usb device is recognized and shows the correct vid/pid and the device name but udev scripts are not so helpful. I assume that if there is a solution for other MTP dependent devices, it may work for this one.
This device supports wav,mp3 and xvid but not ogg nor ac3. 1. MTP is M$ Media Transfer Protocol see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Media_Transfer_Protocol 2. The device has a mass storage mode and it works. -- Moshe Leibovitch ================================================================= To unsubscribe, send mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the word "unsubscribe" in the message body, e.g., run the command echo unsubscribe | mail [EMAIL PROTECTED]
