Fixing these problems in the new page will be much more effort than restoring
the original page, and with less gain.

Fine. I asked, because this is one thing that I like about my current
list-of-mailing-lists system, and am not sure exists in the new one.

I'll contribute when I have something to contribute. If you have any areas
that need help, let me know and I'll try to dedicate some time to help with
that.

mod_rewrite is a kludge and tends to break more often than not. I'd rather
configure such URLs at the Joomla level.

Thanks for giving me the permissions and I'll try to investigate that.

I wasn't bitching. I mentioned some things that disturbed me and explained why
I decided to restore the original mailing lists' list at a temporary location
instead of the new one. It wasn't done maliciously, but as something I
remembered when looking at the page on hamakor.org.il.
