Ah, talking about names?

On that page I see:

| Medianix FreePBX
|
| A new morphix based distro is born!
|
| Medianix FreePBX is a morphix based distro (with base, main, kernel and
| many packages recompiled/updated to debian sid) that includes asterisk
| 1.4.2, mISDN kernel drivers, Zaptel drivers, Asterisk-GUI and others.

FreePBX, as you can read in http://freepbx.org/ is quite a different
thing. It has a clear and not-so-draconian trademark policy:
http://freepbx.org/copyright-trademark-and-intellectual-property-policy
(Atengo LLC is a company formed by the main developers of FreePBX. I
recall the main developer writing something in the lines of "we didn't
really want to write a trademark policy but people started to abuse the
name).

As you can see, Medianix is not FreePBX. It doesn't use FreePBX (it uses
the Digium asterisk-gui). It is something completely different.

And yes, the author has been made aware of that quite a while ago.
