The following lead to "partimage" is helpful, but this comment on "recommended method" from a recognized Linux expert is a clincher. In this profession it is important to understand that there is usually no "recommended method" to perform a particular task. Sometimes there is only one method, but usually there are multiple methods that work well or that work better for some people and less well for others.

If I have a workstation with a tuned installation and I want to replicate it to other workstation. The old fashion way is to open the box and physically copy the disk with ghost. How can I do this without a screwdriver?
