I've tried something else - to upgrade from CentOS 5 to Fedora 7 and its not easy but doable. Due to errors on my side I had to downgrade back to CentOS 5 and back to Fedora several times to I think it can be done in either direction. The upgrade was live, I wouldn't recommend using the install disk for the upgrade (mostly as the install disk won't recognize your current OS and won't offer an upgrade - as you've probably noticed). The main problem I has was with stuff that depends on the python ABI - which is 2.4 for CentOS and 2.5 for Fedora 7. I don't think you'll have the same problem with FC6 as I think both use the same python ABI. -- Oded ================================================================= To unsubscribe, send mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the word "unsubscribe" in the message body, e.g., run the command echo unsubscribe | mail [EMAIL PROTECTED]
