Hi,

As some of you already know, the Fedora project is having
major outage in the last few days.

The first formal announcement was Thursday evening and sounded
really bad:
"The Fedora Infrastructure team is currently investigating an
   issue in the infrastructure systems."

Which obviously sent everybody speculating...

What can currently be disclosed is:
 * Mirror managers asked specifically about serving content to users
and were told that: "there has not been a need to disable serving
   content to users."
 * The fedora account system is back to service since Saturday and
   some services are already working.
 * There are still many services that doesn't function (especially
developer related services like package building etc.)

More info later, as we get to know more details.
