Hi, As some of you already know, the Fedora project is having major outage in the last few days.
The first formal announcement was Thursday evening and sounded really bad: "The Fedora Infrastructure team is currently investigating an issue in the infrastructure systems." Which obviously sent everybody speculating... What can currently be disclosed is: * Mirror managers asked specifically about serving content to users and were told that: "there has not been a need to disable serving content to users." * The fedora account system is back to service since Saturday and some services are already working. * There are still many services that doesn't function (especially developer related services like package building etc.) More info later, as we get to know more details. -- Oron Peled Voice/Fax: +972-4-8228492 [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.actcom.co.il/~oron Make it idiot proof and someone will make a better idiot. credit: http://www.jr.co.il/humor/signatur.txt ================================================================= To unsubscribe, send mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the word "unsubscribe" in the message body, e.g., run the command echo unsubscribe | mail [EMAIL PROTECTED]
