Hi all, At my workplace we sometimes (once a year, perhaps a bit more) have conferences, of the "usual" kind - a few lecturers, give presentations, talk, etc. We want to record (video) these lectures and put them on the web for the public. We already do this, with a company that gives us a rather nice end product - a set of web pages, with the presentations and video, connected together - the slides move by in parallel with the video. However, they are heavily microsoft-oriented, meaning the output is Windows/IE/MediaPlayer only. Do any of you know of companies that offer similar services on both Windows/IE and Linux/Firefox (e.g. with Flash output, or whatever)? We are currently looking for complete solutions - we want the company to send people with cameras/microphones, get (from us) the presentations (which are usually ppt files), and give us a professional-quality DVD (or few :-) ) to put on our side - not suggestions on how to do this or people that can convert wmv files to flv ones.
You are welcome to contact me on- or off-list. If people contact me off-list and there is an interest in the subject, I can send a summary in a few weeks. -- Didi ================================================================= To unsubscribe, send mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the word "unsubscribe" in the message body, e.g., run the command echo unsubscribe | mail [EMAIL PROTECTED]
