I'd like to thank you for organising Herzelinux (
http://tuxology.net/herzelinux/ ), which I've enjoyed attending several talks
given there.
However, I've missed the latest talk (where Lisha spoke about Mobile Internet
Devices), which I wanted to attend, because I was not reminded that it will
take place the day it did. I also recall that many other previous events were
not publicised enough using announcements and reminders.
So I'm asking you - please send Email announcements and reminders to this
talk, so people who depend on email will be reminded in time. If you're too
busy, then I volunteer to do it for you, if we'll be able to co-ordinate some
way for me to receive notices of upcoming events (and the format you desire
for the announcements and reminders).
As a distinguished Israel Linuxer once told me: "If it's not in my E-mail, it
doesn't happen. And if the whole world says something, and my E-mail says
something else - E-mail will conquer."
A bonus would also be anns/rems on Israeli news sites.
