I used to have a strange problem with my bank where it'll accept my id
and password then give the usual first login page then it'll tell me
that the server is loaded and I should try again later. This happened
after years of usage without problems.
Logging in from other computers or linux users on same desktop worked well.
I tried clearing all privacy info, including "flash cookies" to no avail.
I finally wiped my profile (saving what I could) and now can login again.
Try creating a new firefox profile or login from a different linux user.
