My choice is not very common, but I'm using man times Lazarus with
Lazreport<http://lazreport.sourceforge.net/>and
TAChat <http://wiki.lazarus.freepascal.org/TAChart> (never used them on the
same place though)

Both of them are also data aware components and can be used cross platform
with Windows, Linux and Mac OS X. You can print it using Cups on Linux and
Mac.
