I have installed the latest version of Samba (3.5.8) to work as a print server. When installing a new printer from Windows/7 , and supplying the driver name from Samba server, the printer name gets changed to driver name. The only fix to this , is to go the "share" tab of windows , copy the share name and paste it to the printer name. Although it works I would not like to have this as a standard policy. Does any one run into this issue and have a better work around? Israel
