I find the "unprofessionally" produced subtitles often contain errors, require me to re-encode them utf-8 and often contain glory statements which make it look like I just downloaded the movie to which some people in the family object. So when it is for a movie I downloaded for myself but want to let someone who doesn't speak English enjoy I use those sites to get subs, when it's for a movie I downloaded to prevent myself ripping a DVD I'll taks bot subs and hebrew dub from the DVD.
