The answer depends on what windows version program you want to run in
Linux. Your choices are:
1. Find a native linux equivalent of the windows program and use that.
For example, instead of Internet Explorer, use Firefox. Instead of
Outlook Express, use Evolution.
2. Install something like WINE and try installing your windows program
on top of wine. They may or maynot work.
3. Use VMware to run a virtual machine inside Linux on which you have
windows running.
