Hiya

Time to throw away the Bat book[1]... 8.10.0 is out. The biggie is SMTP
AUTH, of course, but there are some other nifty features that will help...

Better header filtering capability through the ability to store state
information about headers. I've got some *really* ugly rulesets as an
example, if anyone's interested;

Finer granularity in the access_db - you can specify to or from users or
domains, rather than having both (to *and* from) or none;

Generalised RBL-style lookups - you can specify which DNS list to use, and
you can have multiple lists without any custom ruleset hackery.

There's lots more that's less relevant to spam-l... the 8.10.0- specific
part of the release notes comes to around 1300 lines. I'm still reading
through the configuration README and the operation guide...

Cheers

Richard

[1] OK, it'll still be useful for *some* things, but it's way out of date
for much of the configuration now - the current edition was written for
8.8, after all.
