No, krn is right - named for the rn and trn newsreaders (and I think
providing a GUI for one of these oldies).

OK fine - he can use $newsreader (and search freshmeat / linuxberg for
even more exotic proggies to read news).  However .......

Won't do.  Like I told you, both VSNL ~and~ Satyam have implemented port
119 blocks on their egress routers, so that 

1. Only VSNL users can access usenet through news.vsnl.net.in (and ~only~
through news.vsnl.net.in, not any third party server)

2. Satyam users CANNOT access usenet at all, as they have implemented
router blocks, but have not yet deployed their own NNTP server.

Sthithaprajna is a Satyam user .... so no use whether he uses krn, pine,
netscape, ..... but he (and all other users of satyam) cannot, as of now,
access usenet (except by using deja and other web based services).
