Corel linux is cool [Installed from CHIP Mar2K]. But I faced following problems:

1. VSNL : I tried using Dial-up to connect to VSNL (Authentication: terminal based
login), but after enetering my username, password and 'ppp' modem disconnects
automatically commenting 'pppd daemon died unexepectdly'.

Please help, also tell how to make a Login script for connecting.

2. DOS/WIN BOOT PASSWORD: Is there an option in Corel boot like LILO (in RedHat) to
not to boot in Windows or Linux until a password is given.
CLARIFYING: ON BOOT UP COREL PRESENTS 6 OPTIONS ['1 for COREL LINUX' & '6 for
WINDOWS']. IS THERE AN OPTION THAT WHEN I PRESS 6 (i.e. WINDOWS) IT SHOULD PROMPT FOR
A PASSWORD FIRST AND THAN BOOT INTO WINDOWS.

In RedHat it was easy using LINUXCONF but this does not seems to be working in Corel
Linux.

Thanking you in advance,

ManiG.
