See to that u r assigning  valid memory to different mount
points.There is no need of assigning the /usr partition
but if he wants it,it's ok.There is a minimum requirement
for assigning the root(the /) partition say about 500mb or
more
and see to that it's being properly assigned(If space is 
not available then space for / will be shown in some area).
